Each year, we conduct public engagement to gather input from residents and businesses, guiding the development of the draft annual budget.
All public input on the budget helps to inform City Council’s deliberation of the draft budget, leading to the approval of a final budget for the upcoming year.

Budget Process
The budget process enables the City of Quesnel to make informed resource allocation decisions, including choices about staffing, service levels, and which priorities will be addressed in the upcoming fiscal year. Council's priorities are set out in its Strategic Plan.
